Legacy Partners Eric Baertsch, Eileen Brassil, and Bob Cann attended the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) National Conference on Employee Benefit Plans May 14-16 in Grapevine, Texas. The conference provided attendees with key updates on recent and proposed legislative changes and regulatory issues affecting benefit plans. After hearing from top professionals and regulators, the partners then provided in-house training to our entire employee benefit plan practice group.
Senior Manager Larry Wood is a task force member of the Minnesota Society of CPAs (MNCPA) and contributed to the development of the 7th Annual MNCPA Audits of Employee Benefit Plans Conference.
Partner Eileen Brassil participated in a taskforce for the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center to develop its primer, Multiemployer Employee Benefit Plans, and co-hosted the Center's webinar in June 2013 titled Multiemployer Benefit Plan Audits.
