Legacy's internship program runs throughout the summer and is a great way for students to dive right into the world of public accounting and get to know our Firm. We hire interns from colleges and universities of all sizes and typically hire 6-8 interns per summer. The interns are assigned to either the audit or payroll audit department, dependent on current workload.
Applications for summer internship opportunities are reviewed each fall for the following summer. Our interns gain valuable knowledge and industry experience at Legacy each summer.
Aidan, a 2024 intern, said of his experience at Legacy, "Over the course of my audit internship the aspect that I enjoyed the most was the learning and development. Going from the start of my internship doing my first batch of workpapers and testing to the final weeks had such a dramatic shift in what I felt equipped to handle.
