DAH Scholarship 2026 Recipients

The Donna A. Hubert Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2020. The Scholarship is an annual renewable $1,500 scholarship for women interested in pursuing a career in accounting.

Qualified applicants are undergraduate students enrolled at an accredited college or university, residing in either Illinois, Indiana, or Minnesota, pursuing an undergraduate degree in accounting, and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Accounting must be declared as the recipient’s major.

The goal of the Scholarship is to honor Donna’s contributions to the Firm and the accounting industry. Education is the gift that lasts a lifetime, and through the Donna A. Hubert Memorial Scholarship Fund, we hope that Donna’s legacy will continue to resonate for future generations of students.

We are pleased to announce the 2026 recipients of the Donna A. Hubert Memorial Scholarship are Victoria Lozano, DePaul University; Dhvani Shah, DePaul University; and Maria Carmen Marquez, Illinois Wesleyan University.

Victoria Lozano

Victoria Lozano is a Senior Accounting Major at DePaul University in Chicago. Upon being selected for the scholarship, she said, “Receiving the Donna A. Hubert Scholarship means so much more to me than financial support; it represents the resilience, sacrifices, and hard work that has shaped my journey. As a Mexican American daughter, I have watched my family work tirelessly through difficult times, and after losing my brother-in-law to cancer, I’ve been even more motivated to pursue my goal of becoming a CPA and creating a better future for my family.”

Dhvani Shah

Dhvani Shah is a Senior Accounting Major at DePaul University in Chicago.  On receiving the scholarship, Dhvani said, “Being chosen as a recipient of the Donna A. Hubert Scholarship is an honor because it represents more than financial support; it is an encouragement to keep moving forward. My journey into accounting began without a clear direction, but it taught me how to take initiative and trust myself. Watching my parents build a life in a new country has been one of my biggest sources of motivation, and their sacrifices inspire me every day. As I work toward becoming a CPA, I hope to give back by helping others find their own path.”
