QuickBooks Users Must Upgrade to Windows 10

For Quickbooks users, effective January 14, 2020, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates or support for PCs running Windows 7. This means that computers running on Windows 7 will be more vulnerable to security risks and viruses.

To avoid these risks, Microsoft recommends upgrading to Windows 10. To help companies/QuickBooks users safeguard their personal information, such as their Social Security numbers and bank account information, Intuit (QuickBooks) strongly recommends that desktop customers using Windows 7 upgrade to Windows 10 before installing their product.

When QuickBooks 2021 is released (next year), no QuickBooks desktop products will install on Windows 7.
