Effective October 1, 2011, Legacy Professionals LLP Partner Eileen E. Brassil, CPA, has been appointed to the Executive Committee of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center for the 2011-2012 service year.
The Center is the national organization for accounting firms that audit employee benefit plans. The Center was established to promote the quality of employee benefit plan audits by providing members with timely communication of regulatory developments, best practices guidance, and technical updates.
As a member of the Executive Committee, Brassil will contribute to governing the Center as well as establishing general policies and overseeing Center activities. Legacy Professionals LLP is a leader in serving employee benefit plans, auditing over 350 plans annually. The Firm’s commitment to the industry will be enhanced by Brassil’s participation on the Committee.
