Michael Tiberi

Michael Tiberi, CPA, CFE, is a Partner in the Westchester office of Legacy Professionals LLP. He has been practicing Public Accounting since 2009, and specializes in providing audit and accounting services to employee benefit plans and labor organizations.

He earned his CPA credential quickly after graduating from college. He has since earned his Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation, which denotes proven expertise in fraud prevention, detection, and deterrence. 

Michael represents the Firm at the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) Annual Conference and IFEBP’s Accounting and Auditing Institute for Employee Benefit Plans.  He’ll be speaking at upcoming conferences on Best Practices in Audit Quality and other relevant industry topics.

Internally, Michael serves on the Firm’s Audit and Accounting Services Committee, which is responsible for keeping up on current developments in the areas of accounting principles and auditing standards and for developing policies and procedures for the Firm. He is also actively involved in employee recruiting and training.

Professional Affiliations

Michael is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Illinois CPA Society, International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He also serves on the Endowment Fund Committee of the Skender Foundation and as the Chairman of the Cause Committee for the Skender Foundation Builders’ Board.

Special Interests

In his spare time, Michael enjoys running marathons and half-marathons with his wife. He is also an avid golfer and cyclist.
