At Legacy, we continue to see the ramifications of the Department of Labor’s study with regard to audit deficiencies, particularly for CPA firms that audit less than five employee benefit plans. More and more Firms seem to be exiting the business and thus, calling upon firms that specialize in benefit plan audit work. Legacy Professionals LLP audits over 425 employee benefit plans every year, devoting a substantial amount of resources to educating our team in order to maintain our high standard of quality and service. We are pleased to report again this year that the majority of our new clients come from referrals from existing clients and client service providers. We also continue to grow our payroll compliance audit practice with new and existing employee benefit plans. Contact Jim Kemperas if you’d like to discuss working with us for all or any part of your payroll compliance audit program.
If you know a fund or organization that could benefit from our services, we’d be grateful for an introduction. Contact Marketing Director Julie Tucek to set up a time to talk.
