We have had a very busy year in the employee benefit plan world. The DOL released a new study in which audit deficiencies were cited as a major concern, particularly those firms that audit less than five employee benefit plans. (see related article) Legacy Professionals LLP audits over 350 benefit plans every year, devoting a significant level of resources to maintaining high standards of quality. We are pleased to say that a majority of our new clients come from referrals from existing clients and client service providers. This year, that has proven to be truer than ever. We also continue to grow our payroll compliance audit practice with new and existing employee benefit plans.
