According to the Illinois CPA Society, the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation will stop accepting applications for the "Registered CPA" category on June 30, 2012. Anyone who does not have the "Registered CPA" designation by the June 30 deadline must become a licensed CPA to use the credential.
