Eileen E. Brassil, CPA, Partner, was appointed to the Executive Committee of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center for the 2011-2012 service year beginning on October 1, 2011.
The Center is a national organization for firms that audit ERISA employee benefit plans. The Center was established to promote the quality of employee benefit plan audits by providing members with timely communication of regulatory developments, best practices guidance, and technical updates. The Center is governed by an Executive Committee that establishes general policies of the Center and oversees its activities. Legacy provides audit and tax services to over 350 employee benefit plans on an annual basis. We also provide compliance audits to many of these plans. Our commitment to the industry will be enhanced by Eileen's participation on the Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center Executive Committee.
