IFEBP Annual Conference
Legacy Professionals will attend the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP's) 54th Annual Conference November 16-19, 2008 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas. Bruce Pavlik and Julie Tucek will represent the Firm at the Legacy booth (Booth #1316) at the conference's tradeshow. 

Bruce Pavlik will also serve as a moderator for Session 104, a workshop called "Are Your Plan Policies and Documents in Place?".  It is scheduled for Monday, November 17 and Tuesday, November 18 from 2:45 PM - 4:00 PM. 

Additionally, Senior Manager Eileen Brassil will present at Session 405 (held Tuesday, November 18 and Wednesday, November 19 from 7:30 AM - 8:45 AM) on "Impact of New Auditing Standards".

Association Forum's Annual Holiday Showcase
Legacy Professionals exhibited at Association Forum's Annual Holiday Showcase on Tuesday, December 11, 2007. Forum members, Rose Doherty, Bob Grogan, and Julie Tucek represented the Firm in the Legacy booth.  Rose Doherty also presented at one of the morning educational sessions on Form 990: Changes and Implications.

We also look forward to Holiday Showcase 2008 which is scheduled to be held Tuesday, December 16, 2008.

Giemzik Speaks at IFEBP's Trustees and Administrators Institute
Jim Giemzik presented at the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans Trustees and Administrators Institute which took place on February 11-13, 2008 at Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resort in Orlando, Florida.  Jim spoke about New Audit Standards.
 
Jim was also on the program at the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans Construction Industry and Collections Procedures Institute, which was held September 18-20, 2007 in Arizona.  There Jim spoke about issues related to the Forms LM-10 and LM-30 and about Payroll Audits.  Contact Jim at jgiemzik@legacycpas.com if you have any questions.
