Chris Franz, CPA, is an Audit Partner in Legacy’s Westchester, IL office. He has been with the Firm since 2002 and oversees the audits of numerous labor organizations, employee benefit plan, and nonprofit clients.
Chris is the Firm’s Ethics Officer. He is also a frequent speaker at client and professional meetings. Recent topics have included Changes to the Forms 990 and 5500 and Recent DOL and IRS Enforcement Initiatives.
Chris works closely with his clients to ensure that their internal controls procedures are adequate, that they understand the newest regulations and pronouncements, and on many other issues that affect them.

Chris is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society. He is also a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP).

Chris enjoys spending time with wife and their three children. In what little spare time he has after that, he enjoys cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers and shooting clay pigeons.
