Legacy has received word from the Department of Labor’s (DOL) Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) that we have successfully completed two recent offsite audit inspections. The EBSA runs an initiative known as the Audit Quality Inspection Program. The goal of the program is to ensure that audits of employee benefit plans meet applicable DOL and professional requirements in order to protect plan participants and plan assets. We are pleased to once again have our high standards acknowledged and reaffirmed by the Department of Labor.
