Legacy Partner, Eileen Brassil, CPA, has been appointed to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Employee Benefit Plans Expert Panel.
The Expert Panel serves the needs of AICPA members by monitoring industry developments, trends and opportunities to identify and advise on reporting, attest, and assurance issues unique to employee benefit plans. The Expert Panel protects the public interest by bringing together knowledgeable parties in the employee benefit plans industry to deliberate and come to agreement on key employee benefit plans issues. As part of the Expert Panel, Eileen works on a variety of taskforces, including one that is working to develop guidance specific to multiemployer plans.
Eileen previously served on the Executive Committee of the AICPA’s Employee Benefit Plan Quality Center, of which Legacy is a member firm. The Center is the national organization for accounting firms that audit ERISA employee benefit plans.
