Tom Theis, CPA, is a Partner in Legacy Professionals LLP's Chicago office.  He has been practicing Public Accounting since 1970.  Tom's clients include labor organizations, employee benefit plans, and other not-for-profit organizations.

 

Tom is a member of the Firm's Accounting and Auditing (A&A) Committee.  The committee is responsible for setting Accounting and Auditing policies and procedures for the Firm.  He also serves as an office reviewer, where he performs concurring reviews and quality control of financial statements.

 

Tom has been a speaker at the AICPA's National Conference on Employee Benefit Plans.  He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.

 

Tom was recently inducted into Notre Dame College Prep's Hall of Honor.  The Hall was established in 2007 to recognize alumni who have exhibited outstanding achievements in faith, scholarship, and service since graduating from Notre Dame High School (now known as Notre Dame College Prep). 

 

Tom received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1970.

 

In his spare time, Tom enjoys playing on the Legacy championship softball team, whitewater rafting, backpacking, and hiking.
