Tim Lakis, CPA, is a Partner in the Chicago office of Legacy Professionals LLP.  He provides audit and accounting services to numerous employee benefit funds and labor organizations.  He also works with a number of nonprofit and for-profit entities.  Tim supervises the engagement team during the audit, and works directly with the client contact and the team to ensure a smooth and thorough audit.

Tim provides in-house training for staff accountants, senior accountants, and supervising seniors as a part of our continuing education program at the Firm.

Tim is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.

Tim received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1994 from Indiana University.  He has been practicing public accounting since 1995.
