Bob Cann, CPA is a Partner in the Chicago office of Legacy Professionals LLP.  Bob serves as the Firm’s Director of Compliance Services, where he provides tax and compliance services to not-for-profit organizations, including labor unions and employee benefit funds. He has been practicing public accounting since 1980 and has specialized in tax and compliance services since 1989. Prior to 1989, Bob worked in the audit department of the Firm.

Bob has represented clients before the Internal Revenue Service and U.S. Department of Labor, as well as consulted with them on numerous tax issues. Bob has given many seminars on the Form LM-2 to clients and prospects of the Firm.  Part of his job is to advise clients on how best to comply with all filing requirements.

Bob is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.  He is a past member of Employee Benefits Committee of the Illinois CPA Society. Bob earned a B.S. in Accounting, in 1979 from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
