Staff Events

In addition to working hard, our people have a great time together both during and
outside of work!

The team finished the 2010 season with a huge victory on Diamond 12 at the Accountant's League Championship game on Monday, August 23, 2010 against rival KPMG.  The team has won titles in four of the last six seasons so we are very proud to bring the championship trophy back to Legacy!  Jim Kemperas pitched a great game and Chris Kogut led the offensive charge with four hits.  PJ Tantillo, Jim Kemperas, Brian Ellefson, and Marc Ragona all added three hits.  The final score was 11-5.  A large group of fans came out to cheer the team on to victory.  The team is grateful for the support throughout the season.

Annual After Tax Season Event

At our Annual After Tax Season Party, we honor many of our employees with both serious and humorous awards.  The recipient of the 2010 Thomas W. Havey Team Spirit Award was Eric Wallin.  This award is given in Tom Havey's honor to the person or persons who most embodies teamwork and dedication to the Firm.  Congratulations to Eric for his exceptional team spirit and dedication to Legacy.  The Legacy Rookie of the Year and many other awards were also given out at the event.

Legacy Golf Outing
We also host an annual golf outing for the Firm, which takes place on a Friday afternoon in the summer.  This year's outing was on July 9, 2010 at Chicago Heights Park District Course.  As in previous years, the event proved to be huge a success, and we already look forward to next year's event, which is always capped off by a great dinner, awards ceremony, and a competitive bean bag tournament.
