Jim Giemzik, CPA, is a Partner in the Chicago office of Legacy Professionals LLP.  Jim has been practicing Public Accounting since 1972 and has extensive audit and accounting experience, specializing in labor unions and employee benefit plans.  Jim supervises senior managers, managers, seniors, and staff accountants performing engagements.  He also consults with clients and their staff regarding accounting, auditing, cost allocations, and reporting matters.

 

Jim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.  He is a frequent speaker and moderator for the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans annual conferences.  He also contributes to Legacy's in-house staff training sessions. 

 

Jim received his undergraduate degree from Lewis University in 1972.  He went on to earn his CPA thereafter.

 

Jim enjoys spending time with his family and grandchildren, traveling, and participating in outdoor sports.
