“Employees of Legacy Making a Difference Fund” is funded entirely by the employees of the Firm. Our firm (on behalf of the social committee) hosts various events throughout the year where employees can each pay $5 to participate. Our employees nominate organizations that they would like to support with the funds raised. We have donated to many worthy organizations over the past several years and are so happy to be making a small difference in the lives of others.
During the holidays, we collected hundreds of nonperishable food items in all three offices and dropped them off at local food pantries. We also purchased gifts with the funds. This past season, the Chicago office brought gifts to Advocate Children's Hospital in Oak Lawn. The Indiana office bought gifts for two families through the Salvation Army and is donating to the Schererville FOP Lodge #170 for its "Shop with a Cop" Program. The Minnesota office sponsored 3 families through 360 Communities Armful of Love Program. During the month of December, we also made substantial donations to charities we hold close: BraveHearts, Make a Wish Illinois, and Ronald McDonald Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana.
Over the last three years, our team has donated over $19,000 to various charities. As a firm, we are making a difference in our communities.
